STEP 02
SCHEDULING
We’ll schedule a tentative session date based on your due date and how soon after baby arrives you’d like your photos. This can always be adjusted if your little one comes earlier or later!
If you’d love those fresh, sleepy, swaddled newborn details, I recommend scheduling within the first 2–3 weeks. If you’d prefer a little more time for rest (and for baby to fill out), anytime up to 12 weeks works beautifully. It’s completely up to you and what feels best for your family!
STEP 03
DECIDING ON HOME OR STUDIO
Some families love the meaning and comfort of staying home — documenting baby in the spaces where you’re already spending your days together. Others love the simplicity of coming to the studio, where everything is neutral, ready, and taken care of for you. Both options are slow, baby-led, and relaxed. It really just depends on whether you want to remember the feeling of your home in this season, or keep the focus entirely on your baby and your connection. Studio options do require an additional fee.
STEP 04
PREPPING FOR YOUR SESSION
In the weeks leading up to your newborn session, I’ll walk alongside you to make things feel easy and low-pressure. You’ll get a simple prep guide with helpful tips, plus support choosing outfits that photograph beautifully without overthinking it. Between the newborn closet, session planning help, and gentle guidance along the way, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own — you just get to show up and love on your baby.
STEP 05
AFTER
I will share sneak peeks during the following week. The final images will be delivered in 2-3 weeks. You will receive your gallery digitally, via a private link, and will be able to download the gallery with all the rights.
